  15. HOW TO USE THIS DOCUMENT

  18. To view Readme.txt on screen in Notepad, maximize the Notepad window.

  20. To print Readme.txt, open it in Notepad or another word processor, 
  21. then use the Print command on the File menu.

  44. Internet Connection Wizard does not automatically configure ISDN devices
  45. ------------------------------------------------------------------------
  46. Internet Connection Wizard does not automatically configure ISDN devices. However, 
  47. you can use an ISDN to automatically get a new Internet account using ICW if 
  48. your ISDN device is correctly configured before starting ICW.  In addition, 
  49. ISDN is only supported on nationwide access numbers in the following countries:
  50.  
  51. - Australia
  52. - Canada
  53. - France
  54. - Germany
  55. - Japan
  56. - United Kingdom
  57. - United States
  58.

  60. ICW is not installed if Network is missing
  61. ------------------------------------------
  62. You must have installed the Network control panel on your computer before ICW will 
  63. be installed.
  64.  
  65. -Install the Network control panel from your Windows NT installation disks or compact disc, 
  66.  and then reinstall ICW.

  69. ICW will not reconfigure Remote Access Service (RAS) if it has been incorrectly installed

  71. ICW will not reconfigure RAS if it has been incorrectly installed, with broken or missing 
  72. RAS devices.

  74. To install RAS devices:

  76. 1. Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.

  78. 2. Double-click Network.
  79.  
  80. 3. Click the Services tab.
  81.  
  82. 4. If Remote Access Service is already installed, in the Network Services list, click
  83.    it and then click Remove.
  84.  
  85. 5. Click Add.

  87. 6. Follow the instructions on your screen for installing Remote Access Service.

  90. If another version of Internet Connection Wizard is installed over the existing

  94. If you have installed a program that contains another version of Internet Connection
  95. Wizard, such as Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0, you must start the Internet Connection
  96. Wizard from the following location to see a list of Internet service providers on
  97. the Referral Service that have offers for Small Business Server owners.

  99. To start the Internet Connection Wizard:
  100.  
  101. 1. On the Start menu, click Manage Server.
  102.  
  103. 2. Click the More Tasks tab, and then click Manage Internet Access.
  104.  
  105. 3. Click Sign Up With An Internet Service Provider.

  108. North American dialing rules have changed for dialing Guam
  109. ----------------------------------------------------------
  110. The dialing rules for dialing from locations in North America to Guam have
  111. changed. An international dialing code is no longer required.

  113. To dial from North America to Guam, do one of the following:

  115. - Manually type the new number exactly as it should be dialed, including any 
  116.   dialing codes.

  120. - In the Could Not Connect screen, click Dialing Properties and make the 
  121.   appropriate changes.
